Registration Policies and Procedures

Annual Fee:

This fee of $20 (paid once between July 1 and June 30) is required for office administration and the purchase of insurance with Gymnastics Ontario. This fee is non-refundable once the first class has started.

Payment:
  • Payment may be made in full with Debit, Visa, MasterCard or cash at the ti me of registration.
  • Pre-Authorized monthly payment plans are also available for session payments totaling above $400.00
Family Discount
A 10% discount is available for the 3rd child enrolled from the same family (Excel 1, 2, 3 & 4 are not included in establishing a discount as these classes are already discounted). No other discounts apply.
Late Starters
Enrolment is continuous. Fees are pro-rated at the time of registration for those enrolling after the start of the session. (The annual fee still applies.)
Class Cancellations

All classes are subject to cancellation if there is insufficient registration. We reserve the right to cancel and /or change class times during the session. Notification will be given in advance when cancellations are planned. In case of club cancellations make-up classes will be scheduled. We will cancel classes due to severe weather conditions. If the public schools in Cambridge are closed, so are we. Notice of a cancellation due to severe weather will be available on our answering machine at 8 a.m. whenever possible.

Make up classes due to severe weather will no longer be available.

Charges
  • $30.00 for all N.S.F. cheques
  • $30.00 non-refundable administration charge for refunds requested before the start of the first class.
  • $5.00 administration charge for any duplicate receipt issued.

Please note: Refunds are not available after the session starts.
Attire
Children may wear shorts and a tee-shirt or gymnastics suit with bare feet. Hair must be tied back. Please leave all jewelry, watches and valuables at home. Coaches You will be pleased to know all Kips coaches have obtained a minimum of Level 1 Artistic and Theory through the National Coaching Certification Program. If a coach requires substitution for planned or unexpected events a coach with Level 1 or higher will be his/her replacement.
Coaches

All Kips coaches have obtained a minimum of Level 1 Artistic, Trampoline or Rhythmic through the National Coaching Certification Program and completed Risk Management and Respect in Sport through Gymnastics Ontario. If a coach requires substitution for planned or unexpected event a coach with Level 1 or higher will be his/her replacement.
