| Registration: Frequently Asked Questions |
| |
When can I register my child? |
| |
Registration is now continuous to better serve our busy families. Fees are pro-rated at the time of registration for those enrolling after the start of the session. An annual fee of $20 (paid once between July 1 and June 30) is required for office administration and the purchase of insurance with Gymnastics Ontario. This fee is non-refundable once the first class has started. |

Where do I register my child? |
| |
Registration is available by visiting both our Main Campus and North Campus locations during posted office hours. We now offer online registration to make joining Kips even more convenient. |

What do my fees include? |
| |
Registration prices include class fees, a $20 fee annual required by the Ontario Gymnastics Federation and a $30 fundraising fee. As a not-for-profit organization, we thank you for your support. We will have additional fundraising activities, but your participation is completely optional. |

How do I use the website to find the best class for my son/daughter? |
| |
We've made it easier than ever. You can view our list of classes and descriptions at recreational programs or go directly to our new online registration link that allows you to search all our recreational classes, schedules and locations as well as book right on the spot. You can also browse schedules with no obligation of registering online. Just find the class you're looking for, then visit our office staff at our Main Campus or North Campus. |

The Mini-Peel fundraising cards are a huge hit. Can I get more? |
| |
Yes. If you have friends who want to spend $10 to ultimately save hundreds of dollars, or if you are planning renovations yourself, you can buy additional Mini-Peel cards from our office staff at the Main Campus. |

Are discounts available if I register more than one child? |
| |
A 10% discount is available for the third child enrolled from the same family on the lowest priced class. (Excel 1, 2, and 3 are not included in establishing a discount as these classes are already discounted). No other discounts apply. |

How do I know which program is appropriate for my child? |
| |
Kips offers a wide variety of classes to suit any child based on age, interest, goals and skill levels. Please see our program descriptions for more information, or talk to our office staff or one of our coaches to help you find which program is best suited for your family. |

| |
What if my child chooses not to continue in a program? |
| |
Because Cambridge Kips is a not-for-profit organization, we do not offer refunds once a session has begun. During the session you can do a trial in a class that does have space available. However, that does not guarantee the spot will remain open. |

What should my child wear to participate in gymnastics classes? |
| |
Children should wear shorts and a T-shirt or gymnastics suit and be in bare feet. Hair must be tied back. Please leave all jewelry, watches, video games, cellphones and other valuables at home.

What food should I pack if my child requires a snack for longer classes? |
| |
Participants who require a snack should pack healthy foods such as fruits and veggies, water, juice or nutritious cereal bars. Please pack peanut-free snacks out of concern for other participants who may have severe peanut allergies. Only water bottles are permitted in the gym. |

| |
What are the club's drop-off and pick-up procedures? |
| |
All children must be in the care of their parents until they enter the gym with their coach. We also ask parents to arrive at the club on time to pick up children after class. Parents must come into the building so that coaches know they are safely in the hands of their parents/caregivers. |

What happens if the class I want is full? |
| |
Many of our programs are extremely popular and fill up quickly. We encourage parents to register for a second suitable class and we will make note of your preferred class request. If a spot opens up in your preferred choice, we will contact you as soon as possible. |
